Mod Plus Furniture was founded with a simple, guiding idea: to make thoughtfully designed furniture accessible to everyone. Every piece we curate is chosen with intention — blending timeless style and real-world practicality — so you can create a space that truly feels like yours.

Our Story

Mod Plus Furniture was born out of a genuine frustration that so many people share: you find a piece of furniture you love, but it's either shockingly expensive, disappointingly cheap, or impossibly complicated to actually get delivered and set up.

We started as a small team of design enthusiasts and homebodies right here in Los Angeles, California. We spent countless hours browsing showrooms, visiting workshops, and — honestly — assembling furniture in our own apartments (more than once with leftover screws on the floor). We kept asking the same question: Why can't someone just get this right?

So we decided to do it ourselves.

We work with manufacturers who share our standards for materials and construction. From mid-century credenzas to bohemian dining sets, each piece is designed to work in real homes — the ones with kids, pets, and everyday life.

We're still a relatively small team, and we like it that way. It means we actually read your emails, genuinely care when something goes wrong, and take your feedback seriously. Our goal isn't just to sell you furniture — it's to become the store you'd recommend to a friend.

Our products are made from rubberwood, oak, pine, and mango wood veneers, engineered wood, faux rattan, and upholstery fabrics. We select each material based on structural requirements and finish quality. Product descriptions include a full materials list so you know exactly what you're getting.

If your original packaging is no longer available, contact us and we will provide guidance on appropriate return packaging. We cover all return shipping costs for authorized returns.
